Up date on my life with kitties

Well I've lost the post I'd done about losing Buddy. It was painful to write and I have to now rewrite it. Oh well, here goes. It is enough to say his health was such that the only humane thing to do was give him a dignified end. He went to sleep in my lap, and was not scared. I am relieved of worrying about him suffering, but still miss him, even tho there are many here demanding to be in my lap! Life goes on.

The election has taken a tole also, and my cats may have suffered for lack of attention, in their view! LOL! I look for things to become very difficult for an artist, for far to long! Our economy is going in the tank and there is no relief in these next few years. I hope my job is not in jeperdy, as our business has dropped off conciderably, and we cater to the higher end horse owners.

All of my young ones are suffering from a cold, with sneezing and runny noses, as soon as it turned cold. I hope to not have to use any antibiotic as this is likely a virus.

Annie had three more babies, last week. Oh my, what a bad owner she has. She is the only one to have a second litter this year, thank goodness. One is three colored and one is yellow with white tux markings, and the other one is white with yellow spots. Probably a girl and two boys. She is bob tailed, but no bob babies. She is thinner than I'd like and I need to up her nutrition, without feeding the whole herd.

I'll try to get pictures up, soon.

I have, I think made a deal with one of our interns to set up to do several spays at once, if we can find a small spay hook and get one of our other vets to run the gas. I have been blessed with getting most of the boys I can catch, fixed, and that has helped a bunch. but Annie snuck off.

I'll get my printer fixed[picked up the wrong ink cartrage] so I can scan some of my drawings to show you. I can't seem to get past that sceen and scan anything GRRRRRRR!

More latter, Cheryl
