Well, it has been really nice weather, but way to warm for this time of year. It will start the trees blooming and the cats tom catin'. I do have a promise from one of the interns, to start spaying the females next week end. Yay! I'm so glad this weather is turning back cold. It'll keep my girls from coming in so early. I have three of the young boys to do, too.
If I can get a live trap, I can capture the wild ones outside and get them done, also. Oh to get the population under total control!
The cats have been loving the warm days, alto I don't know how much, because it's cold when I leave for work, and cold by the time I get back! I'm thankful for the break, so they will go out and play and quit being crazy in the house. LOL
Today it is pouring down, and is to freeze tonight, and tomorrow snow, so it'll be a mess on our roads here in N central Texas. Glad I got my horses hay this AM, after the dentist appointment.
They are eating me out of house and home LOL and most are fat and sassy. Still have sniffles and I hope the cold doesn't make them worse.
Timmy is slowly losing ground, and I'll not worry about neutering him. I know I should go ahead and put him down for the good of the others, but it is so hard to do while he's still playful and seems happy. And poor Jilly is still just as bad with the scratching her head and face as ever, no matter what I've tried. She is so miserable. I pray that I can find her help.
I want to start featuring one of my cats, from the past, and one current, each month. As soon as I can get the printer fixed, so I can scan the drawings I've done of the ones early on, before digital Ha Ha. I want to start painting one or two a month, too!

Happy New year all!
Hope all had a good holiday this past year! I had a blizzard on Christmas eve and was not able to get to my kids for Christmas. So, it was me and the cats huddled up for the duration of the deep freeze we had over this holiday season. Recluse that I am, it was not difficult for me, but I sure hated to miss seeing my grandsons open Christmas. They hated that they didn't have a white Christmas at their house[just 5 hours SE of me! LOL], too!
One of the coldest spells in years, it was in the single digits several nights and has been in the twenties most nights since till last night.
All cats are doing well now, on antibiotics again, but Rascal who was the sickest, is doing much better and all the runny noses are better, too. The little wild one that I did get some meds in didn't make it, tho. Just finally got her burried, as the ground was hard and water was frozen. Thankfully the wind is quiet and I can have the cat door open so these wild cats can go outside and play! It's a lot more peaceful now!
The three babies are growing up, even little Coaly, has finally decided that he has to eat cat food, and he's finally starting to grow too. I think he might be a gray like Ricky, because his sisters are getting black, but he is getting a lighter undercoat. They are quite entertaining now!
Hard to hear of the earthquake in Haiti, and know how much human suffering is going on and not also think of all the animals suffering, too. May God's grace give them hope and help in their time of need.
